Combat Sambo European Championship 2015. September 26. Michalovce. Slovakia. Results   

September 26, 2015 in Michalovce-city (Slovakia) there was hold the Combat Sambo European Championship among men, young men and juniors (ECSF). 145 athletes from 14 European countries: Ukraine, Poland, France, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria, Germany, Latvia, Belarus, Macedonia, Slovenia – took place in the competition.

The President of the European Combat Sambo Federation Elkhan Veliyev, the Mayor of Michalovce-city William Zahorchak, the President of the Combat Sambo Federation of Slovakia Tibor Simonik opened the Championship with the solemn speech.

The President of the European Combat Sambo Federation Elkhan Veliyev noted: "The quantity of participants of the Combat Sambo European Championship grows from year to year, the level of fighters increase and the number of participating countries also rises. All of this speaks not only increasing the popularity of combat sambo about, but also that we develop the most demanded sport in modern society. We have always sought to development of the combat sambo, declaring themselves with the victories in the most important international matches. And now, seeing what level this kind of martial arts rose in all Europe, all of us who developed the combat sambo over the years, we feel the great satisfaction."

Elkhan Veliyev awarded the Mayor of Michalovce-city William Zahorchak and the President of Combat Sambo Federation of Slovakia Tibor Simonik with honorary diplomas for development and popularization of Combat Sambo in Europe.
